What a great idea! We moved here from the DFW area 9 years ago. While I love TN, especially Middle TN, I miss certain things about Texas such as Bluebonnets, real Mexican food (not this pretend stuff here,) Texas-style BBQ, the State Fair, Dallas Summer Musicals (the Music Hall itself is a plus,) Campisi's, the Ballpark in Arlington, better shopping, and Mesquite trees. My daughter and I are native Texans (my Yankee husband claims to be "from" Texas but we know better.)
What I love about TN: the weather & definite seasons, deer and wild turkey wandering around, less traffic, beautiful rolling hills, historic homes, the Natchez Trace Pkwy, great people, and Smoky Mountains.
Thanks for the website, Kyle! I'll be sending off for my sticker!

You comment makes me miss Chuy's and roads that have only one name for miles and miles and miles. I certainly also enjoy our seasons here and don't miss the heat in Big-D.

Thank you for a sticker that says it all so succinctly - AND includes the silhouette of the great state! Blessings to your family and little Ruby.

What I miss about Texas: Tex-Mex, BBQ, The River Walk, boots'n'hats, Bluebonnots & Spanish oak, the Rio Frio, Padre Island & Aransas Bay, cowboys, the Hill Country, it's strength and history.
What I love about Tennessee: It's gentleness, the green hills, four distinct seasons, historic homes, beautiful farms, old wooden barns.

You certainly touch on some of the same things I think of. This time of year makes me think of the Texas State Fair and Big Tex. Yesterday marked the 10 year anniversary of our move here from Big-D to a little patch of heaven on 5 acres out near Triune. One of the biggest surprises was the walking our dog in the pitch dark and hearing a snorting noise ... oh my ... it was deer. :)

I am from Kemp Texas, East Texas area, and I miss GOOD state fairs. When I moved to TN and attended the "state" fair, I thought I was at a county fair. Of course I also learned that a couple of the county fairs are better than the state fair LOL. I love love love TN, happy to transplant here.
What I love about TN
Landscape
TREES
Green grass
Water! we were always on water ration during the summer in TX
No one thinking they're so awesome for being able to fly their state flag at the same mast as US flag...FYI, everyone does that anyway...
JOBS, everywhere, maybe not what you want, but I see help wanted signs every day.
Many, many universities to choose from.
Umm, great churches, green ways, state parks, playgrounds and in general just plain beautiful
