My Texas roots run deep, going back to Austin's Original 300. I don't want to be one of those obnoxious transplants who always laments that where they came from is better than where they currently are (Yankees are particularly bad about that)...because the road goes both ways. This is why I was so glad to see your bumper sticker - it acknowledges a love of Texas while still honoring Tennessee. I find the spirit of Texans and Tennesseans are similar, and I tell people that if I can't live in Texas, Tennessee is the only other place I'd want to be. I love it here in Franklin - great people and a wonderful place to raise a family.

Just did a double take when I walked the dog and saw the bumper sticker on a neighbor's visitng car and it perfectly expresses my sentiment. If I can't be in "god's country", then Nashville is the next best thing. I'm from Houston and miss the Buffalo Bar and Grill, good Tex-Mex at Pappasitos, shrimp fresh off the boat in Galveston. It took me quite a while to get used to these rolling hills after the flat lands of Houston. I too will be proudly sporting the bumper sticker. Thanks Kyle!!!!

Love my Tennessee, but ready to explore me some Texas...

Yes, just put your order in and I'll get them to you. It takes me a day or two to get around to it. Thanks for being patient. - Kyle

Russ,
I, too, am a Baylor ex. We love being in Franklin and don't miss the "concrete jungle" either.
Regarding Whataburger ... YES! Start the campaign.

LOVE IT! Saw the bumper sticker on the vehicle in front of me during my drive to work. Was happy that it was someone in my building, so I got to look at it closely and get the website. Order is in!

I was born in Sherman but my family moved away before I was 1. I rediscovered Texas during my years at Baylor and then worked in Dallas for a number of years. I'll always be Texan and my two boys are proud to say they were born in Texas. That said, we have really fallen in love with Middle Tennessee -- the seasons and the fact that greater-Nashville is not a concrete jungle like the Metroplex.

What do I miss? It was a sad day when I got my Tennessee plates and had to take the plate off that had "TEXAS TRUCK" on it. It was like I had neutered my truck. I also miss Texas BBQ, the Cowboys (couldn't care less about the Titans or the "don't shoot me orange" UT), weekends in San Antonio, Salado, and eating Whataburger. Texas shared the Blue Bell with Tenn., which played into me knowing it would be OK to move here; in return Tennessee has shared Sundrop soda with Texas. Now it's Texas' turn to give us Whatatburger. Here's hoping...

I am from all over Texas, Huntsville, South Houston and Fort Worth but now live in Nashville with my Yankee husband. I started a food blog, www.yellowrosecafe.blogspot.com to keep my roots close to my heart and share my lifestyle fusion of Texas spirit and Southern soul. I love Texas...but I love my new beautiful home of Tennessee!

Well, I'm from a small town in southeast Carrizo Springs, TX. I moved to TN in 2002 to attend college at MTSU. I got my degree in recording industry and currently work at CMA.
DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!
I left my family in TX to pursue a career in the music industry and it paid off! The only thing is I MISS TEXAS!!! I still have Texas plates on my car and I have a Texas flag that will hang in my "office"(cubical)
A friend showed me the sticker and I fell in love with it. So much so, I’m thinking about getting it as a tattoo.
Yep, that’s how much I love & miss Texas. I do love my new home in TN. I just with TX & TN where closer to each other.

Hello, I am from Corpus Christi, Texas, but I have also lived in Dallas. I really do miss Texas, my family being at the top of my list. I also miss texas football, Go Big D! Texas Fajitas! I miss the down town dallas skyline. I miss the saying "Don't Mess with Texas." I also miss the beautiful texas flag. I now live in Tennessee and I absolutely Texas TN! I live in the Nashville area and love that you can find live music almost anywhere you go. I love how green Tennessee is, and the Appalachian mountains. I now attend college at MTSU and I'm enjoying it as well. Most of all I love the people here.

Please send me a few of these stickers. When I saw it on the back of someones car, it made my day.. I was thinking "Hey, I Texas TN!" I even thought about chasing that car down to ask where he got it. I thought about it all day long and had to google it. I have a few family members who would love to have this and who share our state pride. Genius!
